We kindly remind you that once a guest has confirmed their reservation, they enter into a legally binding contract with Diamond Lodge and the following terms and conditions apply.

Minimum stay

The minimum stay at Diamond Lodge is two nights.

Prices and Payment

All prices advertised are based on two people sharing, and are inclusive of breakfast, free parking and free Wi-Fi.

A valid credit card or debit card is required when booking and will be held in the event of late cancellation or a no show.

Guests booking directly with Diamond Lodge can choose to pay the full balance prior to or upon check in.

We accept payment by cash and most credit or debit cards.

 

Cancellation Policy

We respectfully ask that guests are sure of their plans and dates before booking with us at Diamond Lodge, as cancellations and date changes can impact us significantly. We strongly advise taking out travel insurance in case you should need to cancel due to unforeseen circumstances.

Should guests wish to cancel for any reason, we require at least 7 days advance notice. If guests cancel their reservation within 7 days of their stay, the full cost of the reservation will be charged less any nights we are able to re-let.

In the event of a ‘No show’ or failure to cancel, 100% of the reservation balance will be charged.

Check in / Check out

Check in at Diamond Lodge is from 3pm until 6pm.

Check out is 11:00am.

If you wish to check in/out earlier or later than these times, please contact us in advance and we will do our best to accommodate your request.

Parking is available from 12:30 on your day of arrival.  If you do arrive before check-in, we ask that you please call from your car or pop into reception to make us aware that you will be leaving your car parked.

We kindly ask that at the end of your stay, cars parked at Diamond Lodge are to be moved by midday to ensure space is available for arriving guests.

Room allocation

At Diamond Lodge, we are always more than happy to try and accommodate specific room requests. However, please note that this is not always possible, and we reserve the right to change room allocations to equal or better rooms at no cost to the guest.

Breakfast

Breakfast is served in the dining room daily from 8am until 9.30am. We ask that guests fill out the breakfast pre-order from which will be found in guest bedrooms and leave them in the dedicated area in reception by 9pm. This is to allow us to prepare food and manage waste effectively and we thank our guests for their co-operation.

Housekeeping

We carry out daily cleans on all guest bedrooms at Diamond Lodge, and if your stay is greater than 5 nights, we will change your bed sheets of the 4th night of your stay. If your stay is 5 nights long – the bed sheets will be changed on the 3rd night. If you do not wish for your bed sheets to be changed – please let us know upon check-in. Unfortunately, we do not offer bed sheet changes on reservations of fewer than 3 nights.

If you require fresh bath towels at any point during your stay at Diamond Lodge – please leave your used towels in the bath/shower tray. If you do not require fresh towels and are happy to re-use, please hang them on the towel rail in the bathroom.

 

Smoking/vaping

Diamond Lodge is a strictly no smoking/vaping property. Guests found to be smoking/vaping anywhere within the building will incur a charge of £150 and may be asked to leave. If a guest is asked to leave for this reason, they will remain liable for the entire cost of the stay.

Children

Diamond Lodge is an adults only bed and breakfast and we cannot accept any guests under the age of 18.

Pets

We do not accept dogs at Diamond Lodge, with the exception of assistance dogs which are accepted by prior arrangement.

Please note that there is one resident dog who lives on site. He is a friendly and quiet little Bulldog. For the dog lovers staying with us – he will be more than happy to say hello if you should wish! But primarily he will be kept separately in our own private accommodation or garden. He is at no time allowed in guest bedrooms, dining areas or food preparation areas.

Parking  
Cars are left at the risk of the owner; Diamond Lodge accepts no responsibility for cars or belongings left parked in the car park.

Damages and breakages

We understand accidents happen, however please do take care with our accommodation as you will be responsible and liable for any damages or breakages which you cause to the accommodation or its contents. If the damage is minor, we would not usually charge but we kindly ask guests report any damages or breakages as soon as they occur. If the damage is deemed to be significant, guests may incur extra charges to cover the damage or loss of business as a result.

Liability

We do not accept any liability for any damage, loss or injury to any member of your party or any vehicles or possessions, unless proven to be caused by a negligent act by ourselves, our employees or contractors whilst acting in the course of employment.
